Developed a customized Quality Management System utilizing our implementation model

Created site-specific QMS implementation plan for each facility. The plan focused on executing strategic alignment, implementing a measurement system  for key performance indicators, and deploying a site-wide QMS training

Custom-designed a series of education and development activities for the entire organization.  Targeted training was key to the successful implementation of the organization’s QMS.  Training included:

Improvement Specialist Training (comparable to Six-Sigma green belt) for approximately 4% of employees

 
  •  

Improvement Expert Training (comparable to Six-Sigma black belt) for approximately 1% of employees

 
 
  •  

Management Training for all managers

 
 
  •  

QMS Awareness Overview for every employee at every site

 
  •  

Coaching to assist operating teams to tailor implementation plans to their particular operation.


The Results

Return on investment for this project was 3:1 for the first year:  $3.00 saved or avoided for every $1.00 spent for the QMS project

  •  

Nominated for an International Award for the company’s global parent company

  •  

Strategic focus and direction has improved due to the implementation of a strategic measurement system.

Employees are actively participating in all components of the Quality Management System.  There is a high degree of employee involvement in identifying opportunities, improving processes, and utilizing measurement systems.
