Ed MilesThe foundation for the Miles & Associates consulting firm began with the advent of the quality management movement in the early 1980’s. 

Ed Miles, owner and president of Miles & Associates, served as a key leader with an international consulting firm Tennessee Associates International (TAI) during this period of time and into the late 1990’s.  Under his leadership, TAI developed a significant number of models and methods designed to assist organizations challenged with improving their bottom-line results using process improvement techniques.  As a result of TAI changing its market focus in 1999, Mr. Miles successfully transitioned the TAI services to the Miles & Associates organization. Today, the consulting firm continues to operate as a successful small, minority owned business serving customers on a national basis.

Miles & Associates presents a multi-phase approach that includes interactive consulting and customized training services.

Phase I: Building the Foundation - objective is to create an understanding of the principle components of the project and/or training program. This is accomplished by our consultants and staff exchanging information with the prospective customer key managers.

Phase II: Organizational Deployment - is the implementation phase designed to address specific client objectives in a combination of consultative services with training activities. Each engagement has a goal to assist organizations to maximize involvement and self deploy the objectives for achieving improvement results.
